S J Waring & Sons, cabinet makers, later merged with the furniture makers Gillows of Lancaster, to form Waring and Gillow. The business had retail premises on Bold Street and workshops in St Anne Street, shown in this photograph taken for S J Waring & Sons.
BL08799B has later been added as a note to the back of the print and to the Bedford Lemere daybook. This numbering is believed to be incorrect as the original print has 5 printed in the bottom right hand corner.
