Description

The two statues are of Benjamin Disraeli, Earl of Beaconsfield (1804-1881), and Edward George Geoffrey Smith-Stanley, 14th Earl of Derby. The Junior Carlton Club was built 1866-1869 by the architect David Brandon. In 1885-1886 the building was enlarged and a new central portico entrance constructed, to designs by J Macvicar Anderson.
