General view of St Bernard's Well with the Water of Leith flowing below left. The temple over mineral springs, designed by Alexander Nasmyth (or Naismyth), 1789, was based on Sybil's Temple at Tivoli, and was restored in 1888 by Thomas Bonnar Junior.
