Description

This school, referred to in the Bedford Lemere daybook as James Alleyn's Boys School, was one of the three schools founded from the Alleyn Bequest in Dulwich. The schools were Dulwich College, Alleyn's School and James Alleyn's Girls School. Alleyn's School was founded following an 1882 Act of Parliament to re-organise Alleyn's College of God's Gift at Dulwich.
