Description

The Wildernesse, later known as Dorton House, was later converted for use as a school by the Royal London Society for the Blind. The original building dates from the mid 18th century, and was subsequently enlarged. The image was taken for Charles Henry Mills, Baron Hillingdon, who bought the house in 1884.
