Description

Previous Bedford Lemere daybook entries name the house as Haymount, although contemporary Ordnance Survey maps show it as Holcombe Hall. The house was owned by the Aitken family, and was later reused as Aitken Sanatorium. It later became a mosque and Islamic school, Darul Uloom. The daybook states that interior decoration was carried out by David Murray.
