Description

The vases were designed by Carrington and Company, jewellers and silversmiths based in Regent Street, London. The inscription beneath one of the vases reads: 'Presented to Francis William Leyborne Popham Esquire on the occasion of his marriage by his tenants in the counties of Wilts, Berks and Somerset, November 1890'.
