Description

The oval panel is part of a larger design consisting of panels of painted fabric tacked to the ceiling. The Bedford Lemere daybook records the name of W S Black as the person who commissioned the photograph although at the time it was taken, decorative house painter Thomas Kershaw was registered at this address.
