Although the name 'Priory Cottage' is given in the daybook, the closer of the two houses has Reedley written on the gate. The name Priory Cottage is also given to BL10868 which shows a different house, although a building to the north was called The Priory. The houses were subsequently numbered 241-245 Vicarage Road.
