Description

The interior design of the house was undertaken by W G Sutherland and Son who in the 1891 census was living in Ashton upon Mersey and is described as a journalist and decorator. The client was the owner of the house, Joseph Boden, who in the 1891 census was shown to be a silk linen merchant.
