Description

Country house rebuilt in 1850 after a fire, later to become the BBC World monitoring station and base for BBC Radio Berkshire. The photograph was taken for C J Crawshay to show interior design by C E Sayer. The Crawshay family, the owners of the house, also owned ironworks in Merthyr Tydfil and the Rhymney Valley.
