Description

Country house constructed during the 18th century and restored by C.R Cockerell between 1819-36. The photograph was taken for Lord Windsor. In the Bedford Lemere Daybook a later hand has added Bromsgrove to the name of Oakly Park but there is no record of an Oakly Park in Bromsgrove and the house in Bromfield is mentioned in a Victorian gazetteer as a home of the Windsor-Clives.
