Description

The architects of Hewel Grange were Thomas Garner and George F Bodley. It was built for Robert George Windsor-Clive, the first Earl of Plymouth, for whom the photograph was taken. The Bedford Lemere daybook refers to the client as Lord Windsor. The wall hangings were copied from tapestries belonging to the Emperor of Austria (Österreich).
