Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook states that the premises is at number 16 Duke Street and that the architects were Ernest George and Peto. The listed buildings entry and other sources give the address for the row of shops as 55-73 Duke Street and the 1908 Post Office directory confirms Rose and Co as number 69. The architect was W D Caroe.
