Description

The main hospital building on Great Ormond Street was built between 1872-1877, and the architect was Edward Middleton Barry. The Bedford Lemere daybook states that the architect of this new facade was 'Chas Barry', probably referring to Charles Barry, Edward Middleton Barry's brother. The photograph was taken for Adrian Hope Lee.
