The Brunswick Street entrance of the Adelphi Bank building, built in 1892 on the corner of Castle Street and Brunswick Street. The carvings on the pediment were made by Charles E. Whiffen.

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the architect of this building was W D Caroe MA, which refers to William Douglas Caröe (1857-1938).
