Description

Bell Moor house was originally four separate houses, which were made into one large house in 1880 by the Hampstead historian Thomas Barrett. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that this photograph was taken for F W Barrett, who was presumably a relative of Thomas Barrett. The daybook also records the name 'C E Birch' in the 'architect' column, but this is referring to interior designer C E Birch.
