Description

The house, Bell Moor, was originally four separate houses converted into one large house in 1880 by the Hampstead historian Thomas Barrett. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was commissioned by F W Barrett, presumably a relative of Thomas Barrett, taken to show work carried out by interior designer C E Birch.
