Description

The architect of the Hall School was Edward Robert Robson, who designed several hundred school buildings in London after the Elementary Education Act school reforms of 1870. The Bedford Lemere daybook states that this photograph was taken for 'Miss Allen Olney', and this refers to either Sara or Rita Allen-Olney who ran a school for girls at The Hall from 1891.
