Description

Knole House dates from the late 15th century with Jacobean additions. It was built by Thomas Bouchier, Archbishop of Canterbury, and was the seat of Lord Sackville. The photograph was taken by C Essenhigh Corke for Bedford Lemere and Company.

Archival History

This was incorrectly numbered as BL12710C (already exists as another image in AL0484) and has had to be renumbered as BL12710T, the last letter available in the sequence of photos.
