Description

The location of this piano at the time of this photograph is uncertain, but it may have been at Lansdowne House in London where William Waldorf Astor lived until 1893, or at his country estate in Cliveden-on-Thames, Buckinghamshire. The photograph was commissioned by John Broadwood and Sons, the manufacturers of the piano.
