Built in the 1860s by Henry Clutton with additions in the 1880s, Minley Manor passed to the War Department in the 1930s and has most recently been used as the officers' mess of no 3 Royal School of Military Engineering. The Bedford Lemere daybook records George Devey as the architect responsible for the alterations, and Laurence Currie as the client. A note in the daybook states that the negative was destroyed and a new image taken with the number BL15566.
