The mansion block is shown here shortly before completion with the builder's 'To Let' sign partially visible giving details of the accommodation and fittings within the flats. Roxburgh Mansions stands detached from other buildings, but soon after this photograph was taken other mansion blocks were constructed adjoining on either side. The Bedford Lemere daybook records Paul Hoffman as the architect.
