Description

The earliest livery hall on the site was built in 1428, with subsequent rebuilding of the structure in 1668-9, 1682 and 1802. The hall was rebuilt again in 1893 to the designs of Henry C Boyes, and this is the version of the hall we see in this photograph. The photograph was taken for Holland and Sons.
