Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records the interior designers as J S Moreton and Sons. The location of the house has been identified using the Gore's Directory of Liverpool and Birkenhead for 1900. This lists a Mr John Slater, timber merchant, living at Fairfield, The Serpentine; one of the photographs in the set shows a Miss Slater's bedroom at Fairfield, so it is presumed that this is the house shown.
