Description

Aston Hall was built in 1735 for Robert Holden, with later alterations and additions. The photograph shows interior decoration by Mack Hamilton and Company, and was taken for Colonel W Winterbottom.

The Bedford Lemere daybook gives the location as Weston-on-Trent but the Hall building is just over the parish boundary in Aston Upon Trent.
