Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the manufacturers of the piano were Sebastian and Pierre Erard, harp and pianoforte makers of London and Paris. The daybook also states that the photograph was taken for 'a connoisseur', but does not provide a name. The location of the piano at the time of this photograph is unknown, but may have been Erard's showroom in London.
