Description

The Cellular Clothing Co Ltd was established in 1888 by Lewis Haslam, inventor of the innovative 'Aertex' fabric, which was central to the manufacture of the company's clothing. The company had premises in Nottingham, London and Swindon, and grew in popularity and prosperity throughout the 20th century. The company was bought out in 2001 by Aertex Ltd.
