Description

This photograph has had all background detail removed, leaving only the piano, which suggests that the image was used as a promotional image. Sebastian and Pierre Erard were pianoforte and harp manufacturers based in London and Paris, and their firm commissioned this photograph. It is unclear however, where the photograph was taken.
