Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook does not provide an address relating to where this photograph was taken, merely recording it as the 'Oak Room'. The commissioner of the photograph is however recorded as George Trollope and Sons, builders, who were likely to have been the builders or interior decorators of the property or room.
