Description

The banking company Glyn, Mills, Currie and Co commissioned this photograph. The bank's founding company, Vere, Glyn & Hallifax, had premises at 70 Lombard Street from 1753. After various mergers and name changes, Glyn, Mills, Currie and Co took premises at 67 Lombard Street, at its corner with Birchin Lane.
