Description

Thornton Manor was the principal residence of William Hesketh Lever, Viscount Leverhulme. The music room was created in 1902 for Lever by the architect J J Talbot. The Bedford Lemere daybook also refers to H H Martyn of Cheltenham who were responsible for the oak panelling in the music room.
