West Kensington Post Office and Delivery Office were built, to designs prepared under Sir Henry Tanner in the Office of Works, to serve the former Post Office Savings Bank Headquarters (Blythe House). The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken for Howard & Co and HM Office of Works.
