Description

The house dates from circa 1748 with a number of later alterations and additions. The interior of the house was redecorated in an English Carolean style by the architect James Leonard Williams in the early 1900s. He is recorded in the Bedford Lemere daybook as the architect, whilst HH Martyn and Company are noted as the clients for this photograph and Charles Ansell as the owner of the house.
