Description

The town hall was constructed between 1895 and 1900. The interior of the council chamber is decorated with mural illustrating the role played by the Duchy and County of Lancaster in the history of England. The pictures were supplied by Messrs. Goodall, Lamb and Heighway who are recorded as the clients for this photograph in the Bedford Lemere daybook.
