Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records the architect as C E Mallowes, and the designers as the Well Fire Company. The photograph was taken for Captain J Percy Farrar, the owner of Brayfield House. He was a soldier in the South African, or Boer, War, and an Alpine mountaineer.
