Description

County Arcade is part of the Victoria Quarter shopping area in the centre of Leeds, originally designed by architect Frank Matcham. This photograph was taken for Burmantofts Co, which later became the Leeds Fireclay Co. Ltd, makers of glazed decorative architectural terracotta and bricks, who may have contributed materials to the construction of the County Arcade.
