Description

In the 1870s the chapel became a Roman Catholic church when it was purchased by Rosminians, a Catholic religious congregation. As part of a restoration programme, completed in 1878, the screen was designed by architect John Francis Bentley. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that this photograph of 1905 was taken for Elliott & Co.
