Description

Mount Vernon Hospital or Northwood Sanatorium, was built between 1902 and 1904 as a hospital for the treatment of tuberculosis patients, and as a branch hospital of the original Mount Vernon hospital in Hampstead. The chapel of 1904 was designed by F L Wheeler, the architect responsible for the hospital buildings.
