Description

Lots Road Power Station was commissioned by the Metropolitan District Electric Traction Company, in order to provide power to the Metropolitan District Railway, which is now known as the District Line of the London Underground railway network. This photograph was commissioned by 'Tramway and Railway World' publication, published in London in the early 20th century.
