Description

The older Gordon Street elevation of the Central Station Hotel was designed by Sir R R Anderson and constructed between 1883 and 1184. James Miller carried out extensive additions fronting Hope Street between 1900 and 1907 including a grand circular columned room with glazed dome overlooking the station concourse. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that this photograph was taken for the Caledonian Railway Company.
