Description

The gallery was built in 1903-4 to the designs of the architectural firm Cackett and Burns Dick. The south-western parts of the gallery were altered at some point in the decades following this photograph, along with the road layout of New Bridge Street being changed and the road being subsequently renamed New Bridge Street West.
