Description

This office building was designed by architect Paul Hoffman for merchants Anthony Gibbs & Sons and the builders were Howell J Williams for whom the photograph was taken. The designer of this room may be 'Ellis' whose name is recorded as an architect in the notes section of the Bedford Lemere daybook. This section of Bishopsgate Street Within was later rebuilt and is now called Bishopsgate.
