Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that this photograph was commissioned by Edward and Co, auctioneers, and so it is likely that it was taken to advertise the lot in a forthcoming auction. The negative has also been masked with tape to frame the chair more effectively. It is not possible to say where this photograph was taken, although it could have been at Edwards and Co's premises.
