Description

Novello and Company was founded in 1811 by Vincent Novello as a music publishing company. Their premises in Wardour Street were designed by architect Frank Loughborough Pearson and constructed in 1898. The Bedford Lemere daybook records H H Martyn as the client for this photograph, probably a reference to H H Martyn and Company who were memorial and architectural construction craftsmen.
