Description

The Bedford Lemere day book records that the architect was 'Chesterton', this may be referring to architect Frank Sydney Chesterton who had an office at 52-53 Cheapside in the same building as Chesterton, auctioneers and estate agents. The interior decorators appear to have been A J Arrowsmith & Co, and G & A Brown for whom the photograph was also taken. The owner was Mr Edward Kraftmeier.
