Description

Lancaster Lodge formed one half of the former Little Campden House on Gloucester Walk, Kensington. The house was divided in 1850 when the eastern part became known as The Elms and the western half was named Lancaster Lodge. This property had its main entrance on Campden House Road, now Hornton Street. Following bomb damage during the Second World War, the house was demolished and site incorporated into the Tor Gardens housing estate. The client for this photograph was Mrs Wedgewood.
