Description

This is the earlier Bromley Town Hall building, built in 1906 by R Frank Atkinson, FRIBA, in a style reminiscent of Sir Christopher Wren's public buildings. There is a later Town Hall extension on the adjacent Widmore Street, completed in 1939 by C Cowles Voysey. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken for R Frank Atkinson, the architect of the building.
