Description

The Queen's Theatre was built in 1907 to the designs of WGR Sprague, and this photograph was commissioned by G & A Brown, interior decorators, who were likely to have worked on the building. Sprague also built the adjacent Hicks Theatre at the same time as the Queen's, later renamed the Gielgud Theatre, and worked with G and A Brown on that theatre's interiors as well.
