Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the proposed design was by architect Rowland Plumbe and that the photograph was taken for the YMCA. In January 1912, a new building was opened on the site which was also later replaced in the 1960s. The address of the current YMCA building on this site is 112 Great Russell Street.
